  1. Interesting looking book. Back in the mid-80’s I received a grant to write a collection of stories on the theme of nuclear war (rather a hot topic at the time). Nowadays, nuclear annihilation looks pretty tame compared to the truly ugly weapons available to bad guys everywhere. However, rather than an anthology of previously published stories, I would rather have seen a collection of NEW tales, today’s top authors (regardless of genre) tackling the phobias and terrors of life circa 2007. Why settle for “warmed over” tales, regardless of the talent and big names involved?

Well, you make a good point but still this is a very nice looking collection of great writing names. Maybe this is for older audience?! 🙂
